Who is Brad Meyer?
- Hoosier Roots: Seventh-generation Hoosier; born in Indianapolis and raised in Brownsburg
- Education: Purdue alumnus; Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in electrical and computer engineering
- Family: Married my high-school sweetheart for 39 years (and counting); two adult children, both Indiana University graduates
- Business Experience: 35-year career in business and technology; 20 years leading manufacturing teams in small-town southern Indiana
- Leadership: Led a 100-person, five-state team that delivered a $6 million project on time and on budget
- Government Service: Worked nine years as a U.S. Navy civilian engineer, developing systems to protect our naval fleet from enemy attack.
Why is Brad running for office?
While working for the Navy, Brad took an oath to defend the Constitution against all threats, foreign and domestic. As he saw the many threats to the Constitution growing, he knew he couldn’t sit on the sidelines. So he made the tough choice to leave the Navy just months before early retirement to run for Congress and fight for a government that protects our constitution and truly works for Indiana families.
